Ink coverage in printing

Total ink coverage is the combined value of all inks for a particular area or object on a page. 

• • PIA standards for heavy ink coverage are 25% but B&B defines over 30% as heavy coverage 

• • Quotes with 30%+ ink coverage will require an additional charge for extra paper, press time, and ink required to complete your project

• • B&B has pre-flighting software that can determine ink coverage by page on any given job so that you can plan or modify as necessary
